Born and raised in Arizona, Jason Lohmeier, grew up scrambling across the quartz and granite of the Sonoran Desert. Whether it was hiking, backpacking, exploring ghost towns, or observing wildlife, Jason developed a love for Arizona and it's deserts, arroyos, valleys, canyons, mountains, wildlife and the people he met and read about.  He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2004 with a bachelors in Fine Art. He has worked the last twenty years painting and drawing with brush and pen his experiences with you on paper and canvas.  The inspiration for his work is the land and the people and wildlife who reside there. He currently resides in New River Arizona with his wife and daughter.

"I am inspired daily from anything western. You will find soldier, settler, cowboy, rancher, miner, lawman, gambler, mountain man, vaquero, warrior, and many other salty characters in my artwork.
